30 lbs of pasture fed meats of all types for FREE!
I talked to one of the meat guys at the farmers' market yesterday and asked for any weird stuff, expired stuff, freezer-burned, etc. And he brought me a box today with all kinds of meats! I saw tongue, turkey legs, chicken, lamb, pork, etc., etc. He said it's all human quality, just not "top" quality. So excited. My chest freezer was pretty empty and with this hot, humid weather we're having it's had to work really hard out in the garage. And just last week this same guy gave me 10 lbs of chicken gizzards for free. I can't get him to take a dime for it. So I've been buying stuff for us, but we don't eat all that much meat. I did buy the critters some lamb meat from him for $6.50/lb. I feel guilty about how much he gives us.
