i got some earthworms to see if ginny would be interested in them and she was very interested until she actually punctured it! she was so silly, biting it and shaking it and really seeming to enjoy it, and then she bit into it. she started gagging and shaking her head and ran away. she is such a silly nut! i also bought some superworms yesterday and i will give them a try tomorrow. i don't want to bombard her with too much today.

I've only got the one who's shown any interest in them. But then- if it fits in her mouth, she'll eat it

Koda found a worm outside. He played with it for a bit but had no interest in eating it. Once it split open he was done playing with it. Didn't react like your fuzzbutt did, but just lost interest and walked away.

ferrets are so silly!! here is the video i took of ginny with the worm www.youtube.com/user/ioreksmom?feature=mhw4she wasn't interested in the superworms in the least bit. she sniffed it and then was more interested in smelling the container it was in.

OMG! That's hilarious I think we can safely say she didn't like it?

Ya....that was fairly conclusive at least as a starter. I've seen little ones gag over food like that and eventually eat it, so don't shelve the whole idea yet...but...for a first impression that was rather diffinitive ciao

haha! she definitely didn't like it at first. i put the superworm in the same container and she was very interested in smelling the container and ignoring the superworm so i wonder if she was looking for the earthworm again? i washed the container and everything!
she also gags and makes all those noises from any sort of soup that is not mushy kibble. :S she is such a drama queen! but i love her!

I've got one who still does that when I try to introduce a meat he's not had for a while And if it's anything much over a month- it's a while, unknown, and possibly poison in his books. I'm quite certain that he regularly thinks I'm trying to poison him He's only been eating raw for 2 years now!!!

My Boris is SUCH a little drama queen Mustelidmusk can tell you the fun we had with his transition- she was my mentor. I got her because she "specialized" in the more stubborn ones
