Hello!
My name is Julia, though I go by any spelling of Jules (include wonderfully odd ones hehehe). I'm an animal lover and like to consider myself an artist and writer. I have an assortment of reptiles and 2.5 cats (.5 because another "stray" cat showed up (and for once doesn't belong to the neighbors it seems). She is incredibly loving and lives in our barn/garage, so I've pretty much claimed her). I don't currently own any ferrets (I had two a number of years ago), but I am looking in to possibly getting another pair in the not so distant future. In my refresher/new research I came across this forum and have been lurking for the past month or two while reading it. I made my way through the core threads (health, care, nutrition, enrichment, etc.) and learned a lot. I also enjoyed following the many (mis)adventures of Koda, Lady B, and others and feel like I already know a few of you!
I never really questioned kibble among other things before coming to this website, but now I've done quite a bit of research on raw feeding and vaccination options and have decided I want to feed my (future) ferrets raw and would ideally like to switch the two cats I have (though it might not be feasible right now). I am also very keen on starting to make my own natural cleaners, air fresheners, etc. since learning about the toxicity of EOs to cats and possibly ferrets. I will be posting plenty of questions, as I created a document to keep track of all the subjects I wanted to post about while going through the forum!
I'm fairly bad at these introduction things and don't usually do them, but I figured I'd at least stop in here to say hi.
I'm looking forward to talking more with all of you!
