So hey from Nova Scotia Canada! I delayed intro for one reason... My eldest ferret, my 2 year old albino Flash, refused to eat raw meat. Point blank refused, no ifs ands or buts. He was loosing weight due to the fasting, but I knew if I gave in he'd never go for it. My youngest, Kitiara, went right for it. She's a blaze/mitt/silver, I think, and a real firecracker.
So, just the other day I was offering food to Flash as usual, dark chicken meat with a juicy bit of fat this time, and shock of shocks, he took it and at it! No questions asked! So now he is geting a lot of the fatty stuff to bring his weight back up, but its going very well!
A bit about me, I live near halifax, I love novels, and I love my fuzzies. I am environmentaly aware, and wish I could afford a smartcar or small hybrid, or a hydrogen car. I would love to have a hawking license, but my parents said no more animals until I move out (I'm 19). I go to Mount St Vincent university, and major in english. I have a boyfriend, who has plans to joing the RCMP, or the Military poliece as a backup. My favorite show is The Daily Show, with Mythbusters holding a close second.
I am a member of the Ferret.com forum, by the same user name.

(I pmed you, so be sure to check your messages ) Its great to have you here! I am happy to hear that your babies are switching! Its exciting isnt it? Feel free to post any and all questions you may have regarding your ferrets diet. Once they are totally switch (meaning they are eating meat/bone/organ) I (and the Holistic Ferret Mentors) will ask to see a sample weekly feeding schedule for your ferrets. We'll review it and give our comments, this way you know that what you are feeding is balanced and correct I am very excited because I (like you) am 19 as well. We have quite a few members on here that are 18-21. Its fun to finally meet fellow ferret owners (natural feeding ones no less!) that are close in age to me. I dont have many friends locally, but its a blast talking to you guys online. Thanks for stopping by, and if there is absolutely anything you need, don't hesitate to ask. We are a friendly community that prides itself on being fast (in responding to your questions) and helpful. Enjoy! Feel free to post pics of your ferrets or yourself in the appropriate sections of the forum.
