So I have two female ferrets, Pixie (year and a half old) and Trixie (9 months old). They currently eat a mix of Evo and Wysong Archetypal 2. Once a day they get some Wysong Au Jus (variety of flavors) mixed with mushy kibble. I am contemplating switching to freeze dried food, or maybe frozen. My girls are not very picky, so I expect a smooth transition.
My questions are:
How many oz of freeze dried food would a ferret need a day? (Both weigh about 2.5 lbs)? Would feeding three freeze dried meats (or frozen) be a sufficient diet, or are supplements needed? What are the major differences between frozen and freeze dried? How many oz (if different) of frozen food would a ferret need a day?
Thanks!

Both frozen and freeze dried are raw, and yes, a minimum of 3 different proteins are needed. More are better, but 3 will do the trick The differences are the fact that commercial frozen has all the liquid still in it. It's basically raw ground up meat/bone/organ. For amounts, not sure how the freeze dried works, but most will just leave it out for ferrets to free feed from, like with kibbles. With the frozen, it really depends on age, activity level, size, and health. My girls will eat from 1-3 oz per day, my males from 2-5 oz per day. Those are summer amounts. In the winter, they eat a lot more than that.
