Hi, y'all! I'm Elizabeth and I'm from a small city in Southern Oklahoma. And let me tell you...it's been quite an adjustment from living in "big city" (as people call it around here) Norman, OK. I work as an industrial engineer in a manufacturing plant. It's a great job. I basically study work posts to make the processes more efficient to reduce the manning in that area ...but of course still get the same output. Recently I have been looking into getting an actual domesticated pet for an apartment. I stumbled upon the idea of ferrets and have been doing some research (actually a lot since that's what I do). While looking around another forum, I came across this website. I hadn't ever thought of feeding raw to my potential ferret(s) but I am a health nut myself so I figured I will give my ferret(s) the best in hopes that they will live long, healthy lives. I am glad I came across this forum since it is such a wealth of information (been browsing for half a week). Currently I own a one year old male crested gecko (Charlie). He's an absolutely beautiful creature! I love him!

Hi and welcome Please feel free to prowl around, read posts and ask questions. Everyone here is friendly and more than willing to offer any information that they might have. Thank you for doing your research, ferrets aren't for everyone. ciao

Your gecko is amazing. I love cresteds I am always thrilled when I hear that someone stumbled upon our forum and that it opened their eyes to the idea of natural feeding. Even though you do not have ferrets (yet) I hope you will become an active member on our boards and post whatever questions come to mind. If and when you DO decide to get a ferret, I also hope that you'll share pictures! Ferrets are great pets, but as I'm sure you know, they are not for everyone. Kudos to you for doing your research before diving into the world of ferret ownership. See you around!
