I am a danish breeder that have had ferrets since 2001 and breed since 2004. I have all the time tryed to use "semi" barfing but since we in denmark had a stupid bone-meal problem because of some stupid cows that got sick(cow madness dont remember the right name for it in english) I havent dared use BARF 100%
Now i found a place to get my Bone-meal so want to learn how to use it 100%.
Right now i have 4 ferret from my 2007 litter:
Dk Phoenix´s Topdollar (my breeding hob)
Dk Phoenix´s Myca
Dk Phoenix´s t-bird(called Birdie)
Dk Phoenix´s Shelley (called Yoda)
Pl Firefox Rekin Dywan (my jill from poland)
And I will keep one or 2 of the jills from this years litter:
They do know what real ferret food is they tryed to refuse to eat when they have their kible days(learn them to eat both) but we have finally come to an understanding: if you dont eat the kible you dont get the rat
I also have 4 cats
The blue is Artig he is 6 years old neutered male, the black is Valkyrie a 4 year old neutered girl(what LOVES rats and all meat
), The tabby without white is Filur a 6 year old neutered male, The tabby with white is Fjummer a 6 year old neutered girl.
All my animals run free in my flat. They dont have a cage. I have 2 "teams": My hob he is free all night and sleep at days in my bathroom and entre. And the jills they have the day running free and sleeping in the bathroom and entre at night. (and right now i also have the kit team they so have split my flat into 3 and not 2.)
