My baby was born! We were told in a later call she may come back a bit early for some odd reason. (I planned to leave Oreo with her mother untill she was at least sixteen weeks old to help develop her immune system) and well, I get to pick her up August 20th! The breeder is going out of town so she said I needed to pick the puppy up at eight weeks and five days instead. Prior to the birth, the breeder (she didn't test to see conclusively if the mother was pregnant) said she couldn't feel any movement and thought there'd only be one or two. The intuitive said she would be in a litter of three, and the only female, and would stand out, although her stripe might not be visible from the pictures. All this before the the puppies were born, when even the breeder thought there wouldn't be that many. She felt this was the right pregnant dog (I had been telling Oreo to please go to this dog) and it was! Oreo IS the only female, and the only obvious merle (one brother is a tan merle but barely looks it, and one is solid black) She also said that although Oreo was charting to be only 4 pounds full grown since she only weighed 4 oz at birth that she felt she might get a little bigger.
