I'm considering opening up an online shop for ferret bedding. what is your ferrets favorite type of bed (cube, Ecup, fabric tunnel, hammock, ect.)? also what is their favorite type of toy? I have seen many people selling stash toys that are plush filled with stuffing or crinkle material, do your ferrets actually like those? mine dont care about them at all

Loki and Asher love my Odor Eaters bed. It's too small for both of them but they cram in it anyway. In winter they loved the marshall igloo. Now that it's warming up, they either sleep in hammocks, or stretch out on the towels I put on the shelves. They love running in tubes but haven't shown much interested in hanging fabric tunnels.
Toys: Loki loves to stash anything plush. I made a few little stash toys of my own and he will stash them right away. He also stashes tennis balls. Asher doesn't care about toys AT ALL.

Let's see. First off, all of my fuzzies love slippers. LOVE. Any kind. The clog-like ones, the fluffy boots. They also like noisey balls with lots of strings attached. My ferrets aren't huge on tunnels but I bought them that red octopus that you see everywhere, and every time I jiggle it above their heads they go crazy. I'm interested in finding some more hanging toys. As far as beds go, they love my old sweaters and worn-out hammocks. Whenever I buy them something new, they never sleep in it. They always go for their old stuff! Let me know if you start a business! I'll buy from you!

Some ferret-proof shoes/slippers would be fun! Koda likes things he can't have lol Some cool hanging tunnels and houses and beds and such would be good. For toys, Something small and stash-able, but not edible, and in interesting shapes and textures (maybe with bells, strings, shakers, etc) would be fun. I saw an awesome glove for cats at the pet store. It was a glove with long pointy fingers and at the end of each finger was a little teaser toy like a bell and strings and feathers and stuff. You can wear it and tease your cat/ferret. I wanted it but it was too much money. lol A handmade one would be cool though.

I have or had one of those Wait until 2 or 3 ferts run off in separate directions . Each one of those toys are attached to the fingers by elastics. You've got a choice, ferrets don't really let go of the toys they're stealing....so you either let go of the glove or try and catch a ferret as it steals the toy and the elastic. My complaint....it only takes a full really hard pulls before the toy comes off the fingers and the ferret leaves the scene of the crime with it's pilfered toy and a long string piece of elastic. ciao

Oh I can just imagine it! All the more reason a high quality handmade one would be that much better!
