Yay or nay? I don't give my dog weight bearing bones as she's proe to chipping teeth. Can ferret have them? I would think they're smart enough to not chomp down on them.
I'd like to give Rosto some drumsticks.

I give my guys weight bearing bones. Generally if they're too hard they don't bother. Ferrets are a lazy feeder, hence the difficulty in actually getting them to eat bones in the first place ciao

Heather is right about ferts being lazy eaters when it comes to eating bones . Ferts will typically gnaw the ends of the weight bearing bones and eat the softer, darker colored ends and cartilage. Very convenient since the darker colored parts of bone have more nutrients! -jennifer
