Hey guys,
Sorry I disappeared there. I was spending as much time with Paulie as possible since his lymphoma diagnosis and then I got a new job that required lots of overtime.
As for me: I am well. I got into Michigan State's Serious Game Design Master's program and am looking forward to attending an institution with an active ferret health research community (not lymphoma though, sigh). www.ferrethealth.msu.edu/
Now to find a ferret friendly apartment.
As for Paulie: He is doing awesome! Although his superficial lymph nodes are still huge, he is active and the majority of his digestive problems are gone thanks to the pred. The down side is he has definitely lost his muscle tone, but he's really perked up this spring. He's loving life, loving food (NV Bison is his new fave), and loving that his guilty ferret-mom lets him stay out of the cage at night and snuggle in the bed/Browns snuggie
. Oh, and pedia-pred treats are the best desert, haha.
