Let me start by saying I cannot get this guy to even look at anything but kibble. I handed him chicken jerky, he took and dropped. Tried ferretvite, he snubbed his nose. Just tried raw soupies, even put it in his mouth, I swear he made a disgusted face. Lol.
What can I do to get him interested in other foods? It's worthwhile to note, I am also switching him from Purina kibble to Innova EVO/Chicken Soup for Kitten. He has a small amount of that mixed with his Purina.
Any help is so appreciated.

I've dealt with stubborn little sots, too Your best bet, I think, will be the soup method. Just continue to put it on his tongue, or nose so he has to lick it off. Do that a few times a day. He needs to get used to the taste/texture. Do it long enough, and he'll start to accept it willingly. First from your finger, then a spoon, then from the bowl on his own! When you make it, freeze it up in ice cube trays, that way you can just thaw a cube a day for now, so less waste. And try to keep in mind- if they have to taste meat often enough, they'll develop a taste for meat

We have a break through! I took Rosto's kibble away for a couple hours, and woke him up with some raw soupies. I put a dollop on his tongue, and he looked pensive for a moment, then licked it of my fingers!!!! He took a couple fingerfuls and got bored. I put the bowl in his cage, and he took a couple licks!! So he has shown interest in something other than kibble! He got some on his nose, of course, and spent a moment wiping it on my carpet. Had to share the excitement! I'm also picking up 5 small mice, 5 large mice, 5 small rats, some beef heart, some beef jerky, some chicken wings, and some pork chunks this week from the local butcher. I'm excited!

Congratulations Keep offering the soupy as he gets used to the texture, feel and taste of this new food. Some make the leap of faith and just go for it, others are more cautious Great stuff, keep it up . ciao

Excellent news!!! Congrats on a huge first step. Do you have any idea how long it took me to get that blasted Boris to that point Like Heather said, just keep offering over and over. I also found mine prefer the chill taken off of it. If you don't use bone meal, or anything like that in it, you can nuke it for maybe 10 sec's or so, and mix it really well with your finger to make sure there are no real warm spots in it. It will bring out the aroma for them a lot more, if he's at all reluctant.
