Here is the recipe I am using now:
1 cup kibble 1/4-1/2 cup water 1 jar baby food meat and gravy 1 can cat food 3 mice
It gets ground to a pulp for now then usually frozen. Eventually I will work away from kibble first then slowly remove the canned food. Finally removing the baby food so its just water and meat. I will go from there for further putting my guys onto whole prey and raw combo.
My question is does it have to be frozen to keep? We go through the above batch in 6 days. They hate it frozen so far. Although I do offer it once in a while just in case. Can I keep it in the fridge since we go through it so relatively fast? I can freeze some for emergencies or for frozen day.
I will ask more questions after we discuss this one, thank you guys!

I keep completely thawed food in the fridge no longer than 2 days.
My recommendation is to make individual servings (approx. 1 ounce per serving) of soup in ice cube trays. Pop the soup cubes out of the trays and store them in ziplock freezer bags. I put what I need in a plastic tub in the fridge for thawing.
This makes life pretty easy.

Ok so thawed can only be in the fridge two days. I asked mostly because my ice cube trays broke and I can't get more right now so I guess no soup for a while because I can not figure out another way to freeze each serving separately.

You could always make it thick enough to just dollop onto wax paper on a cookie tray. When frozen, baggie them. Then when serving, add enough liquid mixed in to make it "soupy"

I've used it that way. I've also used the small disposable containers. I still like the ice cube trays for small amounts though. That's how I store my electrolyte mix. Pour them into ice cube trays and then pop them into plastic bags. I usually pick the trays up at the dollar store. ciao
