I can't seem to get Koda interested in egg - raw or cooked. But I know that eggs have a=ll kinds of good amino acids and stuff in them and want to be able to feed them periodically. How can I get him to eat them? With raw it is especially hard because it is so soupy. Normally with a new food that he refuses I scruff him and/or put some in his mouth until he eats it. With raw egg all I can do is put my eggy fingers in his mouth but that doesn't really convince him to eat it. I want to be able to give him a whole egg (raw or cooked) too so he can play with it and crack it and eat it. But I just can't seem to convince him that they are yummy. Any suggestions?

Introducing the way you are is about the only way that I do it. I've got some who love eggs but others couldn't really care less. They get egg in their ground mix so I usually don't really think about it. I offer egg 2 or 3 times a week, if I think about it. I usually just crack the eggs open and scramble and serve. Napoleon and Ghenghis are usually the first to stick their heads in and I have to watch to make sure that they don't hog the whole thing (I usually just add another egg if they do) That being said, Lady Natasha, Lady Pooka and Thor usually make a hard referse if they find that slimy stuff in the bowl. I don't force the issue because they get eggs anyway. Keep trying is all I can suggest and using your finger or putting some egg on a special food is about the only way I can think of right now. Hopefully, someone else will pop in and have some other ideas ciao

Hmmm.... Well I tried putting a little ferret vite (whi he loves) on top of the egg so that he would lick it up and taste the egg, but he wouldn't even lick up the vitamin stuff once it was in the egg!

I occansionally mix one into soupies and serve it warmed, I have a few that like them just cracked but a couple that won't touch them like that.

Try cracking it onto a small plate, scramble it a bit, then warm it very slightly. Not enough to cook it(might get too hot then), but just to take the chill of the fridge off. Mine won't touch them cold, but 10 sec's in the microwave, and they are into it so fast
