My ferts love them! (They are one of the brands that will be included in the HF raffle basket for the natural enclosure fundraiser for the FGRH). I love them because they contain 100% all natural, cage free chicken breast, a little bit of glucosomine and chondroitin and some vitamin E. The pieces are nice and big and they are great at cleaning teeth. I keep them on hand incase I foget to thaw out some food for the kids (to tide them over until the food thaws). I also use them if I have to cage to ferts because I am going out. They take a while to eat and by the time the kids are done with them they are tuckered out. Even my cat likes them! Oh and if your fert does tolerate chicken (or you want to change it up) they also have beef liver and duck breast 'Happy Hips'. Dogswell makes other jerkey treats like "happy heart, mellow mut, and vitality" some contain flaxseed (so I would avoid those treats). I like the dogswell treats better then the catswell treats because they are bigger and take longer for the ferts to consume them (thus keeping their teeth cleaned and their minds occupied) www.dogswell.com/

Thanks for the tip! My guys aren't much for treats but I'll sure try these.
My girlfriend sent me some home made chicken jerky treats she makes. Organic chicken breasts, cut into strips and then dehydrated on a home dehydrator! Cheap to make and a healthy treat.

I got free samples for both dogswell and catswell last month. Send about 6 different samples. My dogs loved them and barely tasted them. (hogs) My cats oddly enough didn't like them. I gave them to Mr. Bean though and he went nuts. Good treat for kits or trying to get your furts into the idea of chicken. Just use the contact us tab and tell them how picky you are about what your pets eat and that you only want the best for them blah blah blah. Tell them what kind of pets you have and how many and they will happily send you samples. doesn't matter if you use the contact us tab on the catswell or dogswell site they will still send you both kinds of samples www.catswell.com/I LOVE FREE SAMPLES!!!!!!! On my old e-mail I was a member of a yahoo group and spent all day on there filling out free sample forms or looking for more free samples to post on the site. I highly recommend it. It is a no strings attached free sample site. finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/FreeBeesForMe/?v=1&t=search&ch=web&pub=groups&sec=group&slk=4

Thanks for letting us know this, Jessica! My ferts LOVE the dogswell happy hips (they are kind of expensive so I might just ask for a free sample )

No problem like I said I was addicted to free samples. Last year I wrapped some up and gave them as presents. My boyfriend thinks I'm a dork because of this and HATES it when I go on a sample spree. I'm like but BAAAABE I'm getting stuff for FREE I'm not spending any money on anything. (some you had to send a self addressed stamped envelope and some were only $1 but that was nothing compared to some of the samples I have gotten. I got a free pair of comfort soft panties from wal-mart.com last year. Granted they are ugly as ever being dark blue but good for that time of the month when you feel like wearing comfy stuff.
