Yesterday, out of nowhere, I decided to give my cats a piece of raw hamburger. I didn't think they'd eat it because I've always thought my cats were just plain stubborn (switching kibbles has been a feat in the past)... well, they ate it. And then they wanted MORE! They were obviously a little confused by the texture, and spent a lot of time chewing (sometimes it would fall out mid-chew and they'd have to put it back into their mouths).... but they loved it! A few minutes ago I gave them some pork, which they also gobbled up. Joey was being a greedy butt and trying to steal Nushi's... hehe, mother/daughter love It's like they've been waiting their whole lives for an appropriate diet. I guess I got lucky and ended up with very open-minded cats (as opposed to my infinitely stubborn ferrets). Now it's time to do my research on feeding cats a raw diet, but I don't think it's much different than feeding ferrets a raw diet, am I right? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
