Aaron, tell your friend to come on board. The question is too complex just to dump a bunch of information at you. It's not about just picking up meat and feeding it to a ferret. It's about balance, albeit through time but necessary. There has to be a balance of nutrients, calcium, trace minerals and so much more. It's about variety, it's about having enough knowledge to make use of the information given. If you feed just meat, your ferret will get sick, very sick. This isn't just a simple one answer question. This is a series of questions and answers. That's what this forum is all about. Learning and sharing information. ciao

Aaron please tell them,
that this is for the use, of fine tunning a "recall list" of different meats, most often used by ferret owners for ferrets.
i understand theres much more to feeding our beloved fuzzy than just meat,
but the information I'm asking for is vital and can and will help save lives, when a recall of those type of meats come along. that is why I'm asking.

Ferrets can eat any protein source from certain bugs, to rodents, to fowl, even beef, pork, elk to name a few. There is no limit to the types of protein sources a ferret can eat ciao
