ahahaha, the very last shot you posted is so typical! Ours can't get on the couch unless invited, however it looks like we shot all our dogs in the evening.. all five will be knocked out. lol How much does your mixed girl weigh? She looks like a Kelpie mix to me.

She looks like a Kelpie mix to me. The little one? Her mom was a stray Basenji mix. She had 11 pups & none really looked like her. Zoe & her sister were left. Her sister looked like a purebred border collie. Zoe looked like a petite rottweiler. Zoe as a puppy She definitely has some Basenji traits, she yodels, but she is not barkless...LOL Koda (big male GSD) is a copycat...he tried his (paw) at yodeling one morning, I about died laughing! It was hilarious! Zoe is 45lbs. Rory is GSD/Lab, I think. One of her sisters looked pure lab, & the other one looked GSD, like Rory. Their mom was a stray too. (Rory is about 98lbs, Koda is 115lbs).

Wow...... You have 258 pounds of dog living in your house. We just have 191. Bo Vine is 40lbs, Tessa Sue is 34lbs, Skip is 50lb os just over that and Sally is 67. They combined eat 3 1/2 pounds of meat a day.. What does your crew eat if you don't mind my asking? We have a slaughter house an hour from here that slaughters 5-10 cows a day, they produce about 200-300 pounds of edible scraps PER DAY, EVERY DAY and they run from late October til like the first of April.. Going is absolute heaven and me, my sister and cousin get our female bonding from digging in 50 gallon barrels of meat. The dogs had their own freezer but it went capooy so they have to share a tiny chest freezer with the humans which really limits what you can bring home from your meat adventures. Sorry for the rambling. I LOVE GSDS!!! My boss' neighbor has one, her name is Rosaline and she is a tall, slender beutiful girl. I saw a white one once and it was SO cute! -~Ketlin

I like Evo, but it's too rich for the 2 GSD's. That's awesome that you have great resources for food! I have a commercial freezer, that I hope to take with me when I move, but I may end up in a condo. =( We'll see.

Why do you choose the Royal Canin? It costs a lot considering it isn't very good.
Taste Of The Wild is a cheaper version of grain free, it is also lower in calories and fat.
EVO: Crude Protein (min) 42% Crude fat(min) 22%
Taste Of The Wild High Prairie Canine Formula Crude Protein 32.0% Crude Fat 18.0
Taste Of The Wild Pacific Stream Canine Formula (fish) Crude Protein 25.0% Crude Fat 15.0%

RC is not the best I know, but it's not the worst, & it's the only one that the two GSD's don't get the runs from. I have tried many more brands that are better, but I haven't found one that doesn't upset their system. Trust me, I would prefer they were one a better brand, espcially Evo, it's what my other critters are on, but it causes the runs, no matter how slow I transition. I supplement w/ Natures Variety Raw medallions.

Haha...great name! =) I named him after the baby bear on "Brother Bear". He looks like a bear to me. I am partial to GSD's, always have been, but I love big dogs! Yeah, they're spoiled, Koda has his own couch, & they sleep on the bed with me.
