I have like, I don't know, a jillion baby links. I gave some to the woozles (my new favorite word) during play time, and they loved them. I'm talking about the round ones that can be linked together. Does anyone see a problem with them as an unsupervised toy? Or should this be supervised only?

I don't see a problem with them. As long as there are no parts breaking off (from wear) you should be safe offering them these toys. Sounds cute! Got any pics of them playing with them?

I tried to give these to my fuzz butts as toys but they refused. They don't like hard plastic.

I do have pics, but not ready to post yet. I have to make my photobucket account. They loved them and fought over them!

Sounds like a great toy, just keep an eye on them for wear and tear from rough ferret play and be sure to discard any that are starting to look like they could pose risks. We always used to "trim" our plastic baby toys that we let the puppies play with once a week. A pair of nail clippers or scissors would be used to clip off little bits of plastic that get flaked up by chewing and clawing so that they wouldn't be ingested and then we'd give them back to the critters when we were done. Any that were looking REALLY ragged got discarded.

I think a lot of the baby toys are better than pet toys from the store. Mine love baby toys...unfortunately my actually baby now is without any....the ferrets claimed them all! I don't let them have the rubber baby toys though. Just rattles and such!

The suggies play with baby toys, I hit Goodwill, and the dollar stores for baby toys all the time. And there are some really cool ones! Speaking of which...I have some stackers the ferts would love!

Since ferrets can get the human flu, just to be safe, be sure and bleach all plastic/hard toys before giving them to your fert. Goodwill and the dollar store are SO my best friends when it comes to finding cheap ferret toys You aren't alone!
