Hello from the Derby City! My last ferret died the beginning of this month and I thought it would be awhile before I had another ferret. But, it was only a couple of days before I was searching out my next fuzzy. I am on a waiting list for a kit from a reputable breeder! I can't wait! And I am excited about feeding a natural diet. When you've had kibble-fed ferrets and you see the difference it makes, its just amazing. I want to give it a try. I just have to wait until my kit gets here first. Thank you so much for putting together this website so that feeding a natural diet doesn't seem so daunting. Its nice to have support and help from people who have been there before. I am working on a website for ferret owners in Louisville and surrounding areas as there is nothing I can find of this sort in our area. (www.louisvilleferret.wordpress.com) I hope to discuss there the benefits of a natural diet too. Picture is of Bella (3/2009) and Io (3/2010) Attachments:

I am so sorry to hear about your Bella! But welcome to Holistic Ferrets, and we will definitely be able to help you with your new breeder kit when he/she gets home Which breeder are you looking at, by the way?

Hi and welcome I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm sure that your little one would never wish you to mourn her, especially for a long period of time. I believe that ferrets are all about living life for the moment and with such intense love of life they would never expect their owners to mourn their loss but to celebrate their life and their mischief. How better to do this but to find another mischief maker Our little ones never truly leave us, they're deeply embedded in our hearts and minds. They are forever with us. Please you must add pics of your new little one when you get it. It's my ultimate dream to get a ferret of my own from a reputable ferret breeder who truly cares about the health and welfare of their little ones. As I do rescue this at the moment is only a dream but one never knows where fate will take one, especially when dealing with ferts Good luck and do keep us posted ciao
