Hello, everyone! My name is Awnie. (:
I am a new ferret mom to a lovely little girl named Mishka. She turns three months old tomorrow. She is currently on a kibble diet, but I am looking to learn more about the benefits of raw feeding. I decided to join the forum after learning about the mentoring program.
I am also coming down with a little case of ferret math. Tomorrow is a big day for me because I am going to go see a five month old ferret that I am interested in taking into my home. If all goes well, I may have a new member of the family soon!
Away from the ferret world, I am a seventeen year old full-time college student who loves nothing more than sock monkeys, oversized purses, and reading a good book.

Hi and welcome Awnie Welcome to the forum and welcome to the crazy world of little fuzzbutts Your little girl is adorable Please feel free to prowl the site, check out the various sections and subsections. You may want to pay particular attention to our nutritional section. Read through the various threads, ask questions. Everyone is friendly and you will find one common thread...the love of our furfriends. If you think you would like to participate in the mentoring program, check it out. You can read through some of the existing switching threads, see if there is a particular method that might appeal to you and fits your little ones eating style and personality. Our mentoring program is presently full but there are always changes and openings coming up, so fill out the questionaire and keep checking in. A mentor will be assigned to you ASAP I will be interested in hearing about the outcome of your ferret math (we all suffer from it eventually ). Don't be shy, I hope to see you around the site ciao

Hi Awnie, and welcome!! At her age(and even the age of your "potential" newest), a switch shouldn't be hard at all. And she'll have a chance to grow up stronger and healthier! Looking forward to hearing kit stories, and seeing some more pics of that beautiful little girl
