I haven't had much luck getting her interested in mice yet, pinkies chopped up or otherwise. So when I made my order, I included day old chicks for everyone. Remembering how crazy insane all the other were for them from day one, I tossed a couple f/t into her cage for her. Well . She walks slowly over to them, sniffs delicately a few times, sat back and looked at them, then shoved her whole face into one and moved it around. Sat back and looked at it. Pawed one several times, turning it over and over. Sat and looked at it, then me, then the chick again. Picked one up, shook the bejeepers out of it, threw it down, looked at it again, pawed a few more times, then took one up to her bed, and sat down and ate it I was standing there watching her, thinking "What on earth are you doing ferret! EAT IT!" The good news? She's decided she likes them Moral of the story- if they don't accept one thing, try another! Who knows- it might just work

Congrats on finding your little one a prey to her taste It's fascinating what catches their taste, while another will not even look at it. ciao

Oh, I've not had ANY that refuse to look at chicks They seem to think they are candy She's also doing the large pinkies now, so another step up for her!
