I have started feeding my 4 ferts raw chicken thighs 2 days ago. I cut them up and split the bone length wise. All but smokey took to it right away. I feel very lucky.
I have a seperate cage set up for smokey right now so I can easily monitor his food intake. I am going to mix a little ferrevite into his food tomorrow and see if that helps.
I already noticed less poopy and they seem smaller than usual. Also they seem more playful when they are out now. I read about this happening but i didnt expect to see these results until later.
So far I have been lucky. I plan on going to the butcher and getting some liver soon. Woot!

What a great start!!! Congratulations. And yes- some results you notice right away. Shouldn't be too long before you notice a coat difference as well as the amount they void. They pee a LOT more, especially at the beginning as their bodies are adapting to the raw. And they'll start eating you out of house and home for a while as well
