My cage

My kids are all free roam and the door on the bottom level is always left open on their cage and they tend to choose to go in there to nap sometimes..

Very nice, I have the two double FN's attached side by side because I don't have room for a third level, my ceilings are too low. Can your guys jump in and out no problem from the ground or do you put a ramp there? I'm asking because I have one ferret Snoopy who basically tumbles out of the first level to the floor because he isn't a good jumper. I'm always worried he's going to hurt himself!

Yep we had to assemble the third level IN the room because it wouldn't make it thru the doorway.
Actually, what I ended up doing is I have a large dryer tube that is very wide that I put underneath and it is held in place by a smaller tube (my boyfriend gets them from his work so I have a lot) and then I put a cardboard box that I had for baby wipes next to it, it's the perfect size and doubles as a feeding den...they step down onto the tubes and if they miss the cardboard box breaks their fall. this contraption is as wide as one door left open so there's lots of room for error. i kinda made it up by accident while i was planning to get a ramp and it's always worked and is much wider than a ramp so i just leave it how it is.

Wow that cage looks really nice ;D I like their bedding set up.

How many weezels do you have in there, and HOW do you survive with only ONE litter box?
I only have my 2 boys in the FN142, and with 2 litter boxes in it, they STILL miss on a regular basis...

well i have four in there. honestly i put newspaper all around that litter box when they are in there in case they miss..the whole bottom level floor is their bathroom as far as they are concerned
and i think it's because they are free roam and have so many other places to potty it's not too hard of an upkeep for their cage.
mine go thru their phases where they wanna potty in the box or in FRONT of it or beside it...never know which they're in the mood for so i just prep for both
