Hi guys, I'm acutely on a really "strange" mission if you can understand it. I'm just going to one ferret forum, seeing what forum they recommend, going to it, then seeing what forum they recommend. Yep, just an alien hear, but I love this place, but for some reason I'd like to do some digging to the root. If this make sense, please share! I promise its not pointless! And if you help, I'll tell you why, making sense?

Hello. We don't have much patience for nonsensical games around here. If you are a legit poster, please PM me and explain what this post has to do with ferret care and I will unlock it.

This person has contacted me and has informed me that they are looking to gather information about ferret care. I have advised that they ask us specific questions so that we can understand what it is they're looking for. I'm sorry about my miss judgment, I was not clear enough, and got a wrong idea about a response I know now was just meant to help. Ok, in my country, the ferret is the 3rd most popular pet, yet almost nobody knows what a ferret is! I feel bad that their are mountains of sources to learn about ferrets, yet I doubt many know of them! I am currently in this forum forum.ferret.com/tm.aspx?m=129670 I use to be in this one www.pets-online.net/all-about-ferrets/ But I had a mental episode and now the admin of that site won't even talk to me! so that makes 3 forums I consider the best! But I want to know more! In the forum I'm in today the most popular book is "Ferrets for dummies" But from what I hear, its acutely fit for smart people too! I want to know about all the forums, web sites, and/or online library's because I want to help people learn about ferrets. Now a forum, is very very hard to not get kicked of of, and it hurts! But I learned the best thing to do, is find another! Imagen some one asks me one day "I just got kicked of and/or the forum I was one no longer exist! any suggestions as to which to try now? I just want to learn of them in a loving group!" geus what, I can point them to one that might fit! Also, I feel I should help those who like me, have mental disability's! Not only for them what to try learning from, but also how to be as good a ferrent as any! natural, medical, with none ferret company e.t.c.! And luci, I'm sorry!

Out of curiosity- are you researching ferrets for yourself, as well as forums?

Alright, no, sadly, I don't have any ferrets! at least none that are real (I do have a "plush toy" ferret to help against sleepless loneliness of not having one!) Any way, because this forum was said to be so good, I just was curious as to what a forum as good as this one, would say is a good forum! I actually have my own web site, and in one blog entry, it lists many ferret shelters from California, to Alaska (though I did not find much on Alaska) I figured, why not do the same thing as I did with shelters, as I should with forums? theboilingpot.doodlekit.com/blog/entry/443061/i-have-shelter-fever Jusht in case some one wants to see that list. I only have one coment sender, so I don't know if you can read the links right. Yes, the info is for me, and any one who wants to know.

Ok, cool! Just wanted to know So, are you planning on getting a ferret soon? Sounds like you'd really enjoy them! I wish! I'm going to have to make a list I don't like! 1 My step dad, he don't like ferrets, go figure! 2 I'm only 19, you know what that means, thats right, I'm still in school, and I haven't moved out yet!(Just a few more months, and good ritens to school! But I'd still be home!) 3 Their are absolutely no ferrets where I live! I hear roomer that some are in Salem, but I can't figure out where their hiding! 4, I did a test, and the only ferret food available, has everything a old and wheal mist friend told me not to feed them! And if I try just meat, to expensive, and they don't have a good verity! So the poor ferrets will starve! 5 If their are no ferrets with in countless miles, guise where the ferret knowing vets are, answer, I don't know, but one vet recognized a ferret when she saw one, so, maby. 6 We would have to keep them in side forever (we have no yard!) and it would have to be in the basement, or they will run into family members who would kick them, or put them in the microwave! And thats all I could think of for now.

Then, yeah- you'd be better off not subjecting a poor animal to those situations! Good call.

Ok, so I've been thinking, I already am on one forum, and I like this one two! I thought, maby I can handle the responsibility of being on 2 by now and just don't know it, so 1 do you think I should try being a full time member? 2 has any one been on 2 ferret forums and saw a good advantage to just 1? And how this is ferret related, I'm asking if I should try posting on this forum even though I do it on another, and if I could learn more about ferrets that way.

I'm a member of more than one ferret forum (though I admit this is my favorite so far ). I find there are a few out there with... a conflict of interests though that will openly bad mouth another (thankfully there seem to be only a few of those), and you'll sometimes recognize people from different ones (I actually ended up here due to a member from here posting on a Livejournal ferret group in regards to a post I made), but other than that no big issues.

You're the only one who knows if you can deal with it psychologically or not. If you want to ask questions, etc., please feel free!

Just be shire to let me know if I do something thats annoying, trouble causing, hard to understand, or even of topic, because I usually don't know! Wheal, my first qeashton will be in the feeding section. My idea is, I will occasionally ask my q.s in both forums to see what answers I get from both! Oh, and if I get band (more of a when in my case) will I still be able to come in as a gust? the first forum I was in, I still use some of their subjects/treads/post to answer q.s in another forum! Like when some one asked if ferrets get sad about losing loved ones, I put up a link to a ferret that was at risk of dieing of depression that his best friend died!
