I've been trying to switch my two over to raw, but have had a lot of trouble finding a variety of meats and cheap cuts here in central Oregon.
So...
I posted an ad on Craigslist
Within the past few hours I have recieved 8 responses from raw feeders with places to go. I was very impressed!! I now have a handful of butchers etc. to contact for meat
This was far easier than the research I was doing and interrogating the safeway/albertsons/whatever retail store meat worker. (They had no idea... err... you want chicken heart?? albeit I did find (hmmphhh... foster's) chicken hearts at Albertsons.
Anyways, wanted to share the news! I'm very excited!! Keep Craigslist in mind! It's a great source for info!
