I finally got my second Ferret Nation cage and stuck them together just like others on this forum have done. I'm so happy with it! I ordered extra bedding sets for the cage so everything matches. Now my three babies have so much room to run around when I am not home....perhaps this calls for a new addition to the fert family? Sorry, the picture is a little blurry!

Love the fabric and colors! After all the years of Super-Pet-Rainbow, isn't it nice to have stuff understated and pretty?

Haha, I haven't had too many poop issues except for my wonderful, fat lazy boy. He decides that he likes to poop next to the litter box instead of in it, if it is the SLIGHTEST bit used. I have no problems with him at all when the box is nice and clean, which is only about half a day...lol. I've helped the problem by folding some blankets and placing them in front of the boxes, and he's stopped using it as a bathroom for now. Other than that there havent been any accidents anywhere else in the cage because I have bedding in all the corners.

How did you connect them? I've been considering buying a second one, but worry about ever being able to un connect them

I connected them with black zip ties through the holes that were open that WOULD have had screws had there been sides on them. Its very secure, but you need to use something under or in between the trays because there is a 2 inch gap. I just used a thin piece of wood, but I am going to see if I can make something a little safer and to make it even stronger. Its great, I can still separate the top from the bottom if I need to, or take them apart by cutting the zip ties and sticking the sides back on. I did not alter the cages in any way, so they can always be used seperate.
