just wondering if there is a better way to keep murdoc's ears clean besides thebottle of ear wash stuff at the store?

Olive oil is a good alternative and I've heard it will kill/drown ear mites. I like it because my ferrets are always grooming each other (including ears) and I don't have to worry about them ingesting the olive oil and getting sick.

Half white (or apple cidar) vinegar and half water is what I use. It works very well on ferrets and dogs.

I have always used baby oil, its cheap, it work and makes their ears smell good. And I was told Alcohol but that is too drying
