Well. Hello! My name is Megan. You can call me Yuchi if you'd so like, not a big deal either way. I am a proud owner of 8 BEAUTIFUL rescue ferrets. I lately got a couple skinny ones in my personal group, while healthy they are not what I'd like them to look like, especially before a move. I am currently feeding kibble, some eggs every so often and am introducing cooked meats for the time being since only like two are really taking ot meat. I'm new and want to be a partial raw feeder, definately not live. My ferrets are Actinite, Larkspur, Nightshade, Locus, Shamrock, Oak, Tumbleweed and Gingko. I do ferret photography - fetzlepetzit.deviantart.comEnjoy. There are no pictures of Gingko up yet. :3 Soon enough though. I hope to get some help - I was reccommended here by Zoshi and her wonderful ferrets Tikki, Coco and Miz :3 So yes :3

Hi, Megan, and welcome to the forum I've got 9 of the brats myself! Please feel free to browse around, ask questions, and you may want to pay particular attention to the nutritional section. Lots of great ideas there I won't feed live, either- but I do feed frozen/thawed whole prey, which they adore! And since one of my guys has some sensitivities to chicken, mice make an enormous difference in his digestion! Looking forward to hearing more from you, and if you find trying to switch 8 ferrets over to supplemental raw by yourself- apply for a mentor! There is a bit of a waiting list right now, but we've got new graduates all the time.

Hi and welcome Megan and all your little furbabies . I love your pics of your little ones I too, run a small private rescue/hospice. I'm presently full with 15 fuzzybutts living out their lives here all eating ground, commercial, frankenprey and both frozen and live prey. You don't have to feed prey to get the benefit of a natural diet for your furbabies. Prey is considered optimum but there are many who couldn't even bring themselves to consider it. Frankenprey is the next best thing and you feed only what you can find at your supermarket As sherrylynne has given you all the pertinent info, I will just say hello and I hope that I will be hearing from you and your little furbabies around the forum. ciao
