My litttle guys are just awesome. When I'm in their play range they start jumping at my legs, try biting my toes..then when I go to tickle them they start war dancing and hopping around me lol Hocus is getting so much better at not biting. His bites have really slowed down. I love how they look at me when they hear me opening their cage..and wow do they get excited when they're getting their play time. I moved play time to my daughters bathroom (nothing on the floors but their toys, dig box, and litter box). Its so much easier to clean and not have to worry about them getting into something that could hurt them. I just can't wait to get a playpen.

Im glad you are having fun! Honestly, I dont have a playpen, but I live in a small one bedroom apartment and they have free range because ferret proofing was a breeze.

That sounds like fun! My ferrets favorite is tag, only they cheat...They'll come up and look at me then when I chase them it's straight under the couch. We don't use a playpen or anything either. We close off the second floor so they can't get in the bedrooms, and the kitchen for now as well, because it's not quite done yet.

Ya I wish I could do that, but with the kids and dogs I don't want them to get hurt. Nothing in my home is ferret proof yet other then the bathroom they play in now. Once I get a playpen they can hang out near me when I'm doing homework or on my computer or whatever else I'm doing. I give them about 5 hours of playtime outside their cage (don't want them to get adjusted to longer periods because of when I start working in the fall). Once they get their shots and are on heartworm I'll start taking them outside with harnesses on for some playtime in the grass. For fun in their cage I gave them an empty diet pepsi box to play in (they love it)

My guys LOVE empty Dr. Pepper boxes. Best toy they ever had lol and how much did it cost me? Like $3 and I got 12 sodas AND a ferret toy! Whoohooo!

our living room is ferret proofed. and thats the only room they get to play in, its fun watching the 3 dogs, cat, 9 ferrets and 2 kids all playing. the kids, dogs and cat can leave the room when they have enough of the ferrets.
whatever box enters my house becomes a ferret toy.
