So Thanksgiving weekend, Casey's Hidden Pantry had a vendor table at a cat show. We did well - better at the cat show than the ferret shows, actually. I think that show cat parents are more informed about raw diets than show ferrets. (But it may also be that the ferret shows we do are not AFA sanctioned). So this weekend we are going to have a table at a dog show. It's a 3-day, all-breed obedience show. DH and I are pretty excited - we think it will be more fun to watch than a cat or ferret show, as the dogs will be going through obstacles and such. But we've never been to this type of show before, anyone know what we can expect? We'll have free samples out of beef niblets, green tripe, and duck crunch. Our thought is that owners will be looking for good and healthy reward snacks. So they can test the samples, and if the dogs go bonkers, we can then sell the owners the bags of treats. But we'll also have all the other foods out to purchase as well (except the ziwipeak, lax and litter - those are more feline/ferret products and not dog items) At the cat and ferret shows we are the only ones selling pet foods. The dog show people said there weren't many pet food sellers at this show either. The show is at the Rosemont Convention Center if anyone is interested. It runs Friday 9-end, Sat 8-end, and Sun 9-end)

That sounds like it would be fun! I'm glad to hear that you guys did well at the cat show! I don't think there should be a problem with dogs and the treat samples - I've tried the beef nibblets with both my dog and a few of the neighbors's dogs and they go absolutely nuts for them. xD
Hope you have fun at the show and that things go well!
