Been on the raw diet since February and 100% raw for all my ferrets, eating all kinds of meat and bone for about 2 months now...and at our latest vet visit, all were healthy!

My vet had never seen such healthy ferrets, and even said mine looked much better than hers! And well -behaved (well, I'll take credit for that one)

Just goes to show...raw is the way to go!

Mickey and Rascal might be exhibiting early signs of adrenal, but are healthy right now and they are eating raw, even if they did spend 4 years on kibble! It CAN be done!

What I have to laugh at is when the vet/vet tech always exclaims about their fur/teeth/musculature It's kind of well, DUH!!! Raw diet!!!

after almost 5 years (my 3 oldest will be 5 in mid March), my traditional vet and his staff are now believers in raw diet (at lest for ferrets) because of 4 brats. The entire office was anti-raw when I started the switch.

Heck, I even feed commecrial raw and my brats rock!!! I can just imagine an all whole prey diet....dream on!!! Reality strikes - well crap, I'd have to chose between my brats and my husband.....such is life ::)
