None of my ferrets "steal and hide" stuff. EXCEPT for Fugue, but even so he will only steal and hide ONE thing: Tim's wallet He LOVES Tim's wallet. He will pick it up and prance off with it and hide it. He doesnt play with it, he doesnt chew it, he just hides it (little weirdo). I'm gunna get a video of him doing it (its hilarious) and then post it on her later tonight. Do any of you guys have a ferret that hides stuff?

My boys are thieves...they will take anything they can get a grip on, and if they can't they will push it or pull it. Lucky for me they always take it to the same place, under the couch. Shoes, dog toys, the remotes, my toothbrush one day, absolutely anything. If you can't find it, we've learned to check the couch first, Smucky has a crinkle tube he's tried to get under the couch every day for 8 months, it still doesn't fit but he won't give up,

They both steal socks. We had a sock shortage and decided to clean under/behind the couch (where they go to sleep when they're out for the day) and we found 26 socks back there.
We've seen Lillian steal wigs (my cousin, sister and I have wigs that we play around with), but Weezer is always the one who sleeps in the wigs.
The bed used to be just setting on the ground on four 2x2s, and when Jilly was alive Lil and Jill would take scrap pieces of fabric under there and sleep on it, but one thing that was weird was there was a few really long pieces of flannel stuff, one piece was LITERALLY TIED to the wood on the bottom of the box spring, the rest were weaved but there was some ribbony fabric that was tied, too. We had to cut it off.
Weezer steals anything that goes on your lips really, He likes lip gloss in squishy tubes, lip stick, vasiline (sp?) lip balm. My cousin was over and had some really costly lip gloss, which he went in her bag and stole. And ate it. Just like he does all the other things.
Anything rubber or foamy is fare game, too.
Oh and when the bed was setting on the floor, either Weezer or Lillian (I can't remember which, it was a long time ago) poked their head out from under the bed, grabbed Weezers big bankie (blanket) that was setting beside it and dragged it right under the bed. The thing is the bed was only 1 1/2 - 2 inches off the ground so I don't see how they managed.

My ferrets steal...anything that isn't tied or bolted to the floor! My son's webkins raccoon is always stashed away by Jax (much to the dismay of my son). Toothbrushes and bottle caps are another fave...as well as tissues (still in the box, mind you), toilet paper (also, still on the roll), and paper towels (see toilet paper).

........and kids shoes. Forgot about that one. It takes us an hour to leave the house, only because we have to turn the house inside out to find the one that is missing!

Rolo has a thing for my eyeclass cleaner always hides it under my nightstand. Loki loves remote controls, they tried to hide a flashlight (big one) so couldn't carry it so they rolled it across the room with their nose. Of course they love their small dog toys (best things i have found for them ones made for teething puppies) Rolo loves Jay's wallet. She will also steal cards like ATM card, drivers liscense. when she was a wee little kit I found a coloring book she hid under my matteress untill i sewed and duck taped it shut with their favourite sqeeker toy still inside. (couldn't reach it to get it out) Rolo is attached to my neices strawberry shortcake mc donalds toy. They used to hide these simpsons figurines when we first got them (the figurines) but now that they aren't new they don't hide them anymore. They both steal the cleaning tooth brushes i have (good for scrubbing those little surprises out of the carpet) They have both claimed my dogs Kong ball with little grips for treats. I put their kibble in their to make it fun for them to eat. Oh yea Rolo loved my burts bees chapstick. so much that i can't find it and now that i bought some Alba chapstick she won't hide it. mine don't care about socks but i have heard boys tend to like socks more than girls.

we give the empty 2 litter soda bottles to the dogs to play with and the first thing Fatty does is sniff his way around the room and find all the bottles and he then drags them behind the tv. (for a blind guy he never misses one) LOL Snowy, Freedom and Tootise steal anything that they can move--and i have even seen them working together to move something that was just a little bit to heavy for only one of them that was funny. the rest of them dont really steal--every once in a while . I have never seen Crash or Hydra take anything but food
