So Kasrah has a bald spot that comes and goes on her face about half way between her nose and her eyes, smack in the center. it is never larger than a pinky nail and is not red or irritated looking in any way. Just one week she has it and it fills in the next week till suddenly she has a bald spot again. It is the only place I am seeing the phenomenon. It seems to appear less often now that she is eating raw, but it is still happening every so often. Any ideas?

Only thing I can think of at the moment that would do that is a mast cell tumor that never fully develops.

all the hair is back in the spot. It wasn't flaky or anything, no redness, and it didn't seem to bug her. I am marking it on the calendar to see how long till it comes back.

Good idea. Also, watch for the redness, etc. every time, too. That way if you do wind up having to take her in, you can give the vet a very accurate history.

so today was health check and full grooming day for all our pets. I notices that Kasrah has a multitude of scars running along her belly. One of the scars is balding, is stiff, hard, and is dark grey in color. I lightly pressed her belly a little and think I felt a hard lump before I got bit rather hard for my efforts. So something in there is causing her pain. I am making an appointment to do in to the vet next week to have it looked at and to ask her about her face as well.

That's a good idea. It's possible one or two scars would be from surgeries, but you say she has a lot of them? Poor girl. I hope you can find out what is wrong with her.

got a vet appointment for tomorrow. She has at least 5 scars on her belly and one across her back. I got a feel of her belly again, feels like little rock hard peas around a dense lump the size of a quarter.

Good luck! It does really sound like scar tissue built up. Poor girl! I'm so glad you've got her now.
