Hello! I'm Sarah (but feel free to call me Nox). I'm 22, and I live in Northern VA with my wonderful fiance. I work as a veterinary assistant, and I'm going to school to become a veterinary technician. I hope to one day specialize in exotics, though the animal hospital where I work now only treats dogs and cats... Oh, well. n.n
I love drawing, reading, paranormal research, and ferrets (obviously)! XD I am here to learn all that I can about raw feeding, so that I can successfully switch my babies to a raw diet. I have already begun introducing them to raw food, in the form of Aunt Jeni's Homemade cat/ferret diet. Two of my ferts gobble it up, the other two will only lick it off my fingers, but it's a start!
I have four ferrets, the first of which I got in July (so I'm a relatively new ferrent). I got Linus from a great breeder, and he's now about seven months old. He's currently intact, but due to be neutered soon. Linus is a very intelligent black roan mitt, and can sometimes be bratty with his adopted brothers (and my fiance!), but he's a sweet little (erm-nearly five pounds) man with me.
I got Pascha about a month after Linus. She came from Petco (don't judge me! You know how it is, when you walk in the store and see their little faces... XD). She's about the same age as Linus, but about half his size. She's a very sweet, gorgeous little champagne mitt who acts like the princess of the castle. Her winter coat is so soft and fluffy right now, I love it! n.n
I just adopted Sherlock and Watson about a week ago, they are two 1.5-year-old sable boys. Sherlock is a small, skinny little guy, and very rambunctious. He's definitely got brains, and he uses them to get into all kinds of trouble. He's also very loving, and enjoys being held and giving kisses. Watson is also a sweetie, but a little more wary by nature. He LOVES to chew things, which has me worried about his teeth (though they look fine superficially).
Well, sorry about the novel, but I love bragging about my ferrets to pretty much anyone who will listen. X3 All of my friends think I'm nuts. Thanks for reading! n.n
