I normally buy the Nature's Variety Raw Frozen Medallions, which are 1-ounce servings. Since the store was out of the medallions, I tried the bigger patties.
I found that the patties seem to have a LOT LESS bone in them. ( I'm almost through he bag, and the entire bag consistetly has less bone.)
So, here is my opinion....
Medallions ------------- More conveniently sized for ferrets Better Bone content a bit dry (smaller size dries out a bit, so adding a small amount of water increaes palatability)
Patties ---------- Better value cost-wise (this may vary by store) Fresher/more moist since less surface area is exposed to air Insuffcient bone, so you'll want to add bone, egg shell, etc.
