I am going to have such an awesome next few months! July 1st- I get to go to the spa! My mom got me a $150 gift certificate to go to the spa for x-mas! and I am finally going to use it! Hello hour long, full body, deep tissue massage and pedicure!!!! Good lord I need this! I havent had a relaxing "pampering day" in 2 years!!! July 21st- Tim and I celebrate our 1 year anniversary! We hit a "rough patch" a few months ago (like most couples do) but we were able to work things through and we are doing WONDERFULLY now. I am happy to celebrate our anniversary. We are doing better then ever. August 2nd- Tim and I jet off to Hawaii for a week long vay-cay with his family. His parents suprised me and paid for my plane ticket and resort fees! (holy crap!!!) I LOVE his family (lol and not just cuz they did this, they are just really awesome, sweet peeps) I've never been to Hawaii, but I am SOOO excited. We are staying on Lanai'. Its supposedly very lush, tropical, and wild (perfect for me!). I cant wait to get a massage on the beach and go scuba diving! August 15th-21st- At some point between these few days the HF website "opens"! Finally, after almost two years of researching a natural diet for ferrets, my "baby" will be put out there for all the world to see! I could pee my pants I am so excited!!! Better hurry up and finish getting the site together! Ahhh! Its not that long till it opens! August 23rd- The Buckeye Bash in Ohio! I get to go to my very first ferret show! I get to promote the HF site as a vendor, I get to meet Mustelidmusk (jennifer) as well as Ann barzda (Hillcrest Ferretry), and several other "natural feeders" that I have talked to online for the last 2 years, AND I get to pick up a humongo order from rodent pro while at the show, thus side-stepping the whole shipping cost thing! Whoo hooo! August 25th- I go back to college after taking a one year break. I am actually thrilled to be back in school, purusing my double major in Biology and Zoology as I prepare for vet school. September 1st- My 20th Birthday!!! Ah! Im no longer a teenager! I am so psyched! Early October- Tim and I are going to go to Chicago for the weekend. We went last October and had so much fun! I can't wait to go again and take the ferrets! Lake Michigan, here we come!

I had no idea you were so young (listen to me, I feel old at 29 almost 30) But age is just a number, right? There was mention of frightfest. Forget that! If you want scary, "real" scary, you should come to my neck of the woods. We have a place in Louisville called Waverly Hills Sanitorium, and they do tours. Ghost tours! What's more scary than the real thing??? I want to go sometime, but I have 4 heel biters at home (not ferrets, kids!). One of these days....

Jaycee, ghosts scare the crap outta me! If I went to that place I would probalby wet my pants lol! Ah and yes, I am but a wee lass. People are often suprised when they realize how old I am. Sometimes people are more hesitant to take what I say, seriously, if they know my true age. I never lie about it, but if they dont ask, it doesnt come up I care about ferrets getting onto natural diets. I dont want someone to NOT put their kiddos onto nautrual because they think I am unable to teach because I am so young (not implying that you or anyone on here feels that way, Im just saying how I feel).

Like I said, age is just a number or a state of mind. It really means nothing at all. I work in a Nursing Home...do you know how many times I get looked at like "how do you know what I need to do? What are you...like 10?". I think we all need a good scare every now and then. Come on....you can do it. I lived in a house that had things that went bump in the night! I survived! (hows that for peer pressure!)

You are one of those "sickos" that loves real-life creepy things arent you I am SUCH a baby. If I watch a documentary on the discovery channel about ghosts or exorcisms I am awake for like the next 3 days! Im looking in my closet and under the bed. OMG I am ashamed to admit, but even at almost 20 years old I am still afraid of the dark (sometimes) and things that go bump in the night. Laugh at me, I dont care lol

Sicko? Me? .................Naw. .........I only read every stephen king book there was...more than once! ....................and by the way. My closet doors must be closed at night before I go to bed, I don' leave my bed for fear of what is underneath, and there is a night light in the hall way. It's still fun, though!

OMG I'm the worst! If I come home to an empty house I have to check through all the rooms, in all the closets, under all the beds, even behind the shower curtains!!! If not when I go to bed I think "what if someone is under my bed...in my closet...in the shower!" But...I like scary movies!!!

Oh, quill...I'm not afraid of the "someone" that is under the bed. It's the "something" that scares the crud out of me!

It sounds like you are going to have an awesome summer Giuili. I wish mine could be as exciting.
I gotta agree with Jaycee on the age. I learned some of my best parenting tips from a 13 year old. She had more experience, taking care of younger siblings, and I had none, having held a baby exactly twice before I had my own. LOL. Age doesn't matter, experience and common sense mean more.

I LOVE his family (lol and not just cuz they did this, they are just really awesome, sweet peeps) I've never been to Hawaii, but I am SOOO excited. We are staying on Lanai'. Its supposedly very lush, tropical, and wild (perfect for me!). I cant wait to get a massage on the beach and go scuba diving! My boyfriend took me to Hawaii after we had been together for only 2 months (He needed a vacation really bad and was gonna go with or without me so he figured it would be a nice gesture to bring me with. I was only 17 at the time so it was nice him being my legal guardian as strange as it sounds) I don't know where you are going but I hope it isn't Oahu. We stayed at The Renaissance Ilikai Waikiki but right behind it was the dock thing where they filmed the beginning of Gilligan's island and the view there was unbelievable. They weren't very nice to us because we were so young (my boyfriend was 22 at the time) and we weren't engaged or married so they felt we didn't belong there. I heard somewhere that it was one of the first skyscrapers in Oahu so it was a very old musty smelling building and it scared us because Hawaii always has mini earthquakes like all day and you could FEEL the building moving. freaked us out so bad. Our room was nice though because we had an OK balcony and then this weird little balcony that you had to climb out the window to get to it but it WAS a balcony. So we had views of the city from that window and from the real balcony we could see the ocean AND the city. It was on the 8th floor. Now here goes the depressing part. We didn't have a credit card....my boyfriend had like 2 grand of cash with him and we did not get to go scuba diving or the shark cage or riding horses on the beach. none of that because we called all those placed to book an activity and they WOULD NOT let you do it without a card. So for a whole week we just walked around the island and explored it ourselves. The beach was WAAAAAY too crowed. we only went at night. (lucky we didn't get bit by a tiger shark) And there were meth heads and crack heads EVERYWHERE Also we went there during new years and there were rich people allover the place. I have never seen so many Limos in my life. We even walked past a guy "hiding" or so he though in the bushes doing crack. on our way back we seen the crack pipe he left and stepped on it so no little kid found it. But if you do happen to go to Oahu then if you had a card it could be fun if you tried. So yea that was our experience. This is the link for the hotel we were at in case your curious It ha pictures including the one of the dock from Gilligan's Island.

Weloveourweasels We are staying on Lan'ai. www.gohawaii.com/lanai/It's the least populated island Very jungle-y, hardly any night life (which I LIKE). Tim (my b/f's) parents are paying for everything and they have a credit card. Sorry to hear your experience sucked! I've heard Oahu is a very busy place and not the ideal island to visit
