I have made a few hand-sewn ferret toys. Right now I will advertise the stash toys not on my etsy site. I specialize in raw and prey stuffed toys. Right now I have a blue fleece mouse with pink felt ears and an embroidered face. He is just a stash toy; there is no squeaker inside him, but I can custom make items for customers. I use a backstitch when sewing the toys, and to close the opening for stuffing, I use a whip stitch, which is what some of the close-ups show. I also have a black felt mouse in the same style. Etsy listing of Mice is below www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=15687101

I also have a boiled egg with a squeaker in it. The eggshell is fleece, and the yellow yolk is felt. I believe it is about five inches tall. The patterned material is 100% cotton and a yellow flowered pattern. ****(Eggs are on Etsy, link to listing is here)**** www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=15688212The last I'm putting on here is a stuffed heart. I have one that is pink fleece all around and another that is pink fleece and 100% white flowered cotton. www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=15680923PM me for more information.

All the previous posts were of items not in my etsy store. I planned to wait until I got a few sales before adding them because the cost of listing items can go up, and if no one is buying anything, it is really discouraging. But I recently had my first sale. Someone bought three toys! So I have listed this great duo on the site, and I don't expect it to stay on long. I just made two stuffed black-footed ferrets. They are the famous Georgia and Peanut from the zoo webcam. They are made entirely of fleece, and you can see photos and read more about them here: www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=sr_list_1&listing_id=15377264I am also in the process of making a "delicious meaty package" with a t-bone steak, chicken wing, heart, leg, and I guess a mouse for good measure. All are made from fleece.

www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=15499608Delicious Meat Package available now. It's so new it doesn't show up in searches yet, so the direct link is the only way to access it unless you do a search for my user name and are subsequently directed to my shop.

I thought I'd point this out to you, I found it pretty funny! About the steak: "First is a t-bone steak. Wish I could have one every night like your ferrets! Just shy of five feet tall, 4.5 inches at its widest point, and about 2.5 inches thick...." That's a pretty big steak!

I love love love that little penguin. (I have a soft spot for penguins and was obsessed with them in middle and high school.) I really like the hard boiled egg too. so realistic. Great job! Georgia and peanut look excellent too!

Someone on the Village mentioned this, too, but I wasn't sure I had really put that in there. I will change it now. Thank you. Boy, if I had a five foot steak, I would be in heart attack city. Weloveourweasels, I will probably put the three eggs I made and the three stash toys (mouse & rabbit) I made in bundles, too for the shop, but I just need to make a few more sales. I don't like having so much there. The listing fees tend to add up.

Oh, Guili. I didn't even have my own thread bookmarked. I said to myself, "I wonder if my most recent items are updated," and then I couldn't even find my own thread. Thanks for changing the title, too.

Georgia and Peanut have been sold and are in a mailbox en route to their new home. Here is a listing for a black self ferret kit. I had a lot of black fleece left over after making Georgia and Peanut, so I made a ferret out of some. The pictures were very hard to take. My camera is a little wacky. I can't even take pictures outside on a sunny day without the color getting blue. So, taking pictures of a black toy were nearly impossible because I couldn't get any seam details. www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=15212767And also a listing for a blue penguin. I've made one like this for another member, and she said it was too cute to give to the ferrets, but it does have a squeaker in it, and it is durable, so don't be afraid to share. www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=16125842www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=16125842

I have a few more toys for sale here. I just got my first sewing machine, so now I can crank out more toys that are more durable and professional. The Deliciously Meaty Package is still for sale. I am going to start making wand toys so people can go fishing with their ferrets, but first my boyfriend has to show me how to use a drill bit. Most smaller toys that have bells will be on a wand. The yellow bird in my signature is one of the items I will "wand out." It's supposed to be a chick. My newest toys include a machine sewn t-bone steak, brown rabbit with X eyes ('cause it's dead, of course), a sable ferret, and a black and white ferret that looks like a panda, but with black paws 'cause I messed up on the color. I also have a black and green penguin with a squeaker in it. The penguins I've made have been a big hit, and I have leftover green fleece from some bedding I made, so I am glad I found a use for it. Steak www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=18224244Rabbit with dead eyes. I can also sell the one in my signature with green "alive for now" eyes. I made that one second, and I think it came out a little better because I hadn't made a rabbit in a long time, and the first one I did on the machine wasn't quite right. www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=vl_other_2&listing_id=18224803Lovable sable ferret www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=vl_other_2&listing_id=18366921Panda ferret www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=vl_other_2&listing_id=18431490Green Happy Penguin www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=vl_other_2&listing_id=18431839

No new posts in the Ferret Stuff since my last one?
Well, thanks to the sewing machine, I can make a lot more items faster. I have a purple 6 piece bedding set and a new purple penguin for sale.

I made a few new toys before Christmas. One is from my famous penguin collection. I call it the Colorful Penguins now. Some of you have these with squeakers in them, but so many hoomans wanted them for themselves, I made it a hooman toy without a squeaker. You can still get a squeaker put in for an extra .50. This one is a Naughty Devil Penguin. www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=18874151This next one is a new listing for a cat toy (because it has catnip). I plan on making a regular one for ferrets, but I can also make one specifically for you before I list the new one on etsy. www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=19075936And my wand toys, which I never offered before, I finally got around to drilling an eye hole in the dowel rods I had, and they make very durable interactive toys. I have some spare dowels, and any toy can be turned into a wand toy for an extra $1. Here is a chicken heart that came out really well. www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=19118360And lastly is a bedding set of 5 hammocks that I made recently. It's a Slumbering Sheep pattern with anti-pill fleece. I have a second listing I will post tomorrow (if I wake up...lol, go 2009!) that also has 5 hammocks in it. If you buy both Slumbering Sheep sets, I give you free US shipping. And if you're Canadian and tell me your FV username when you purchase, I'll knock off 50% of the shipping price. www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=19150500Not listed yet is a dead rat, quail, 3 more penguins, and I plan to make a stuffed BFF in the next day or so. I will be listing one item a day next week. I have free US shipping for 3 items that are expiring soon: A "raw" pink chicken wing www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=151840262 heart stash toys (get a jump on V-day decorations) www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=15680923and a blue birdy wand toy: www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=15688905
