So I bought some rabbit wings (thighs) again the other day and since my boys will not eat them whole, I ground them in my blender today. Now since i ground them, bones and all, do i have to take out all the sharp pieces of bone or leave them in the meat? I am just worried they will choke or cut themselves. I know the ground meat I already buy comes with the bone in it but its not really sharp pieces.

I'd just keep an eye as to whether they get them stuck in their teeth or not. When ferrets crunch bone themselves, the pieces don't appear to be very large when they swallow them, and their stomach acids are quite capable of dissolving them, so other than getting them caught in their teeth, it should be good. The only way I could get mine to chow down on them for a very long time was to take a metal mallet to the bone first, and break it open for them. They still don't eat all of the larger bones, but make a really good try

Just to add the pieces are small in size. So that still would not hurt them?
