What is the correct dosage for a ferret? in dropper form, not spray. I got mine from an Organic people store that pretty much carries the whole line. The dosage on the bottle states 4 drops in a glass of water or 4 drops on the tongue, but that is directions for a person. Also how often can I give or should give it.
I want to use it on Ollie, since his cage mates were recently rehomed and I can tell he is sad and a little despondent.

Right now, I'm using it with 4 of mine, trying to integrate them. They get 4 drops in their water dishes, and I rub a drop on their ears when they come out of cage. It does seem to be helping.

A drop in the ear. Just so I am clear, actually in the ear right? Or more just on the ear itself? Sorry about the questions, but this is the first time I have used something like this and I want to make sure I do it right. Also, how often can I give it to him? 1-2 times a day? Does it matter?

The bottle says 4 drops in water or on a treat. By in the ear Sherry means on the ear not in the canal.

I just put a drop on my finger, and rub it onto the ear flap. Boy, would he get ticked at you if you put it IN the ear

tee hee..... Yes, I do think he would of liked that! I did use the dropper and put a drop in right behind his ear/ on the back of his ear. Plus I put some in one of the water bottles I have on the cage. So hopefully this will help all of them, mainly Ollie and Diamond.

Good luck, and let us know how it goes! I find it helps to take the "edge" off mine.

Well, he has gotten one dose twice now, since I got it. and I just gave another dose. He still is sleeping a lot. But he is older too. I may take him to the vet, just for a little once over. But I am just going to watch him for now. It is a pain, not to know how old he is, I will have to try to do the teeth thing and see if I can get a good guess on his age.

So when should I see some signs? He seems to do good when he first gets up, but he seems to be sleeping more..... or it could be that I am uber watching him and I think it is more. He always slept the most out of all my ferrets as it was. I give him one or so drop on the ear, like sherrylynne suggested- with my finger. And I have added it to all the water bottles too. I have all the ferrets sleeping in one cage in hopes that he will bond with one of them a little. Any ideas? Is there another Bach's that I should add?

There may be other Bach remedies that would work for him but you have to decide what habits, personality changes you want to occur. I've found that sometimes, some ferrets just don't really want to be close to another. I have a little girl, Calypso, she came in with Captain Jack....but she really couldn't care less if he's here or not. She lives with 6 other fuzzies, but she's always alone. That's how she chooses to live and that's how she wants it. She will scream loud and long if someone joins her in the sleep box she's in, but it's ok if she joins someone else. She wanders about, snoops but doesn't play or at least not much. She will play with Captain Jack on occasion but he's learned to play and rough around....she doesn't like that. It's something that I see a lot with free roaming ferts. They choose their friends or lack of friends. ciao

I would like to see more energy, if possible and maybe confidence would be good. I notice that right after I give the Bach's RR, he seems to perk up and last night I fed him a soup ( with a spoon) that he really enjoyed. All my other ferrets are solid, He seems so thin. I can feel every rib and he is def. my thinnest male. But he is older, so that may be part of it too.

So, I have been giving the RR and plus giving soups and he is doing a little better. Some improvement is better than none!

I don't, other than the fact that is is older. He is the one under the "Teeth" section that I am trying to figure out his age.
