Today I got some mice for the wolverines, and of course feed Bandit and Bear first. Even though its been a while they still remembered exactly what to do: See mouse, kill mouse, try to escape the kill box before daddy puts me back in the cage! Well, since she's been doing so well with different types of meat (except beef none of them like it) I thought I'd put her back in the box with a mouse and see how it went. After sniffing it again she finally realized that mice are food. Great start! Of course since she's never had to kill her food before it was a bit of a learning curve. She should seem to understand why it wouldn't just sit still and let her lick and nibble it. Then she got bit. Well that was pretty much the end of things right there; she didn't like it and the mouse paid the price. When I put the last one in with her she didn't waste anytime letting it know who was boss and who was food. lol So now I just need to figure out how to get Dillon switched over. He has no interest in the box and even less in the mice. I think I'll try putting him in with Piper since he's seems to be following her lead on things since she got back. Yay for success!

Yay for meeses! I feed frozen/thawed, and it's hilarious when two grab either end of a mouse. I can just see that happening with Dillon and Piper
