I have gotten KMR for putting weight on Loki before and it did work very well. However I just noticed on the huge farm size container of Goat's Milk Esbiliac it has a picture of a ferret on fron (along with a puppy, opossum, and rabbit) and says under products features can be used to feed rabbits and ferrets. GME is better for a sensitive digestive track as well. www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2752890

I may be wrong, but I believe goat's milk is considered acceptable for ferrets in smaller amounts. It doesn't have as much lactose as cow's milk, and that's what they frequently react to.

That is what I read as well. I'm going to pick up some GME instead of KMR today.

It's true, goat's milk is often recommended for us lactose intolerant humans, too.
