8-)Hello, everybody. I`m here to learn about natural diets for the ferret I`m getting in Oct. 2009. I want to feed RAW and Stella and Chewy`s. I`m getting a hob from a breeder and want to be prepared to meet every challenge that comes a long head on. I am also switching my dogs to a natural diet. It sounds like it`s so much better for them. I look forward to any and all help I can get. This will be my first ferret. Been around ferrets but never have been owned by one. I`ve been owned by dogs, cats, birds and fish.

Hi and welcome on board You will find the forum a wealth of information (we even have some natural feeding breeders on the forum, they don't post often but they've always been there for those who don't have farm ferrets). Please feel free to read through the threads, paying particular attention to our nutritional section, post questions and generally learn about caring about your new little furbaby. We only have one thing around here.....you "have" to post pictures of your new little furbaby when you get him...There are those like myself who do rescue and we rarely get to see the babies so we live for those photos. As you're switching a baby ferret and dogs you probably won't have too much difficulty in switching your furfamily over to raw Baby ferrets are just fur with teeth and dogs are just fur with tummies Good luck, I hope we will be seeing you around ciao
