If they are completely off kibble and are eating a variety of different meats as well as bone and organs than your pretty much done and ready to graduate! (they should be eating at least 3 different meats, of course more variety is better) Let me know all the details on all 3 and what they eat/like/or wont eat and we can assess your progress and see if they are ready to graduate from the program!

Usually what I do is freeze them until I need them, I thaw one and cut it up and section it into baggies (usually 4) and I use 2 baggies and freeze the other 2. I usually cut off the wings and legs with a little meat (without bone from the breast) and put these into 2 baggies, then I cut up the rest of the hen (into pieces no larger than my thumb) and put these pieces into 2 baggies. Thats just me, you can really do it any way u want, although you do have to cut it into pieces for them to manage it (usually the size of your thunb is the rule of thumb haha) I hope I made sense, sometimes I dont! Let me know if you understand my babble! lol

I really noticed a difference in my babies tonight.
I weighted them ofcourse with a human digital scale so they probably arent right.
Gracie is HUGE!!!! she went from 1.4 to 1.8lbs but i swear she has to be 2lbs her fur is si soft!
Asher lost alot of weight. she went from 1.8 to 1.6lbs Her fur soft she isnt boney so idk.
Saybor stayed the same. 1.6lbs. her fur got softer and this is so weird but the frount of her body is all toned and decent but the back of her body is boney. saybor eats the most so im not sure why she didnt gain the most weight.
Their teeth are so much more whiter and cleaner and sharper. But saybors two fangs are a darker yellow and almost brown in some spots.

Yea go ahead and feed beef, even if there is bone..you can always cut off the meat around it Thats great your starting to see improvement in some of their weights and coat, I noticed it too and was astonished! (and its the good weight like muscle, not fat from high calorie kibble!) My male actually got smaller around the first couple months, but then all of the sudden one day he had muscle and grew in size so just give it a while (some progress takes longer depending on the ferret and their individual bodies getting use to the way they are "supposed" to eat ) My Penny stayed the same in the beginning as well and her front is muscular and her hind is boney too...I started them on a weekly supplement of ground egg shells for added calcium and it cleared up and she put on some muscle and weight back there (I can give u the ingredients to my soups if you'd like, I find it adds weight and calcium as well as many other essential vitamins...and sometimes I will feed it twice a week if I see they arent too keen on a meat I give them...like pork, haha, some of mine dont like it and go on strike when I feed it sometimes ) If Saybors canines are yellow that means he has tatar build up, most likely from the kibble, my Boomer had it pretty bad too (he was also my overweight little guy when on kibble) so when you go to the vet next ask them to scale his teeth (you can also do it yourself but the thing is you have to be very cautious not to go near their gums, plus you need a special scraping tool, so its more convenient to have the vet do it usually )

Sounds great. My ferrets were being annerxic (or how ever you spell it) last because they only ate one chicken thigh till this morning. should i feed saybor and asher "part"? my rabbit just died Zink died July,6,2009 at 3:47pm. He was acting weird so i took him to the vet. The vet said he had a bad case of ammonia and so the vet gave him a shot and gave me some meds. for tonight. 30mins after i got home zink went into convulions and died.

Ohh Im soo sorry to hear about Zink! At least he's out of pain and sickness I know how you feel about that, our family bunny just ran away like 3 weeks ago and theres still no sign of him and yesterday I caught my parents trowing away his cage, so no more hope pretty much Im not exactly sure what u mean by part (sorry I can be slow at times lol ) My ferrets do the exact same thing, I seriously think they are on strike sometimes for no reason, but usually its due to too many treats and soups that fill them up.
