I redid the ferret/ office room. It wasn't working. So hopefully this new set up will work better. One of the cages was in the closet, plus the dig box and 2 small litter pans. The other cage was in the room with all the tubing and a litter box and toys. The play pen was pulled across the room and left me little space to actually move. They do not have as much space, but it is still good size and hopefully now much more managable for me. New Set up

Thanks! I am actually thinking about make one cage a 3 story and removing the other as a 'if needed' single story. Plus that would give them some more room in their play area. and once less cage to clean!

thats amazing. if i can get my babies good and litter trained i want to make a setup like that for them. i see you have the ferret furniture tower in the left corner. I am going to make one for my babies. it only costs about $12 to make one vs. $30 to buy one. how many babies do you have?

Thanks guys! When I moved I wanted to for sure get a 2 bedroom, so I would be able to have an office/ ferret room! I have 6 currently, but at one time (for about 24 hours), I had 8. Two of my fosters were recently rehomed and I decided to keep the third, Ollie, due to his age. I have just one foster right now...... she is slowly wearing me down, she may end up staying.... not sure yet. BTW- yes, in the second pic is what I like to call "Ferret in free flight!". Murphy decided to just fall out of the cage instead of using the ramp..... . I kinda lucked out with the climbing tower and second FN 142, they were free. They came with the fosters. I was holding them for the original owner until she came back to the U.S. and still wanted them. Well, I ended up having someone I know, looking for a buddy or two for their ferret, so I contact the original owner to see if she was planning on taking them back and she decided for health reasons not to. So my friend took two of the fosters (see sigg), but then I ended up with Diamond. Ferret math.......... Oh and if you could see the room right now....... scary! Really! It is a mess, but the ferrets love it!

I just finished getting the cage in enough order to let the ferrets back in. I have a ton of bedding that needs to be washed and I have to rearrange the hammocks, plus I put in a new order for some more. But I was proud of it and wanted to share!

I am SO jealous. I wanna make a big cage for my ferts like that, but I just dont have the space in my tiny apartment. Plus I only have two ferts so if I did give them 2, double story FNs I think they'd be a little spoiled lol!

Thanks! I have 6 currently, but on days when I work 12 hours I think they will enjoy having the space. And yes, for 2 that might be just a lil' spoiled! But I am not pointing fingers!!!
