Suppose I'll just show pictures of the entire apartment since that's his ''cage'.. :3 (In sweden you need at least 5square metres area for a cage to a ferret.. that's probably twice the area of my ''ferret room'' so.. He has the ferret room, the kitchen and the entrance as his own, or well, he has to share it with me of course, but he's never locked out from it. When I'm home and awake he has the livingroom and balcony too. He'd ave that when I sleep too if he just could stay away from biting my toes Big picture: www.elftown.com/stuff/ferretcageerrrhhhh.jpg

I really wish I could let mine free roam like that! However, I also have 4 cats who have to get to the basement for their litter boxes. 2 of them have to be shut away when the ferrets are out. They're old and cranky!

I wish I could let mine roam free. Sadly they dont seem to understand the concept of using a litter box. That is an awesome place you have!

Thanks! Tried putting blankets in the corners he uses instead of a litterbox? I've found that hlpful (that's why I have pieces of a carpet in some corners )
