For the past few days Vixey has been hissing for no reason I can think of. Sometimes she will do that when she is playing with Todd or if he gets in her hammock. She hisses alot at Todd. Poor Todd he can't do anything without her getting mad at him. When I got up this AM she was hissing and Todd was out like a light in his bed. I took her out of the hammock to see what was wrong. Nothing. She wasn't stuck or no bug got in there. That wasn't the first time she has done that.

Some ferrets are just "hissers' and use hisses to communicate, rather then dooks. One of the ferrets in my original business, Hendrix, NEVER dooked (except for ONE time) all he did was hiss. Didnt necessarily mean he was peeved, it was just how he 'talked'. Maybe this is the case with Vixey.
