I used to be here before maybe last year as Claudettebillie, but I went through a major forum craze and with 8+ forums lost track of a few.

I had my little kit, Isabella, who sadly passed from very bad pneumonia on January 29th of 2009. I then got my second ferret, Tootsie, who just turned 7 months and my big 5 month old named Jasper came along in June. But I'm back and later next month I'll be trying to start supplementing my two on raw.

More about me, uh, I have a cat and a dog along with 13 fish, not counting the two fuzzbutts. I live in northern Maine and I'm 14 years old. Other than that, Sherrylynne will happily tell you how scatterbrained I am!

Post all questions about natural ferret diet here:

Post all questions/updates on the progress of your ferret's diet switch in that one thread.

After making your initial post we will help you start the switch and we will assign you a "Holistic Ferret Mentor" to assist you and monitor your progress.

I'm so sorry for your loss of Isabella, pneumonia is a horrible disease. My Captain Jack came down with it in March, I almost lost him. He's still trying to put the weight on that he lost but he's well on his way so I think this fall

Ahhh but with the little ones, once they get the taste...they're gone with it and never look back
