So I was thinking about making a feeding den for my ferrets to keep the mess at bay but I don't know what I can use and how I go about training them to use it. I also don't have much room in their cage for one. Anny suggestions?

Check out the feeding den thread in the enrichment section. There are lots of good ideas there! Those plastic igloos that are made for rabbits/guinea pigs might be a good option for a small cage den.

I use the 12 pack soda boxes no scrubbing needed just throw it away when it gets dirty (small shoe boxes work well to). most ferts will naturaly want to use a clean dark place to feed and stash in all you will need to do is just put some food in the box they should use it from there . if they dont then you can hide there favorate treats in there a few times and they should get the ideal .

I just collect cardboard boxes for work, and use em for treats and stash spots. They're handy, and you can move them or chuck them as needed.

Thanks everyone! I was going to buy a small plastic storage bin but I like the idea of using boxes and such better. Thanks again for all the advice.
