What is the size difference between chicks and adult mice? How much do they weigh?
Thanks

Chicks are usually a little bigger then adult mice. On days that I feed chicks, I feed 1 chick and some added food. Rodentpro sells day old chicks, but Prey4Pets sells a variety of ages of chicks (all the way up to 4 weeks old). The older the chick the better, they have more calcium in their bones if they are older. I have some week old chicks from Prey4pets. They weigh 2oz each. I am not sure how much an adult mouse ways since adult mice come in: small, large, and extra large sizes. Hope this helps.

Are the day olds OK if you supplement with other foods? The ferrets get super chunky soup each day, the main ingredient is bone in chicken.
I might be going in with someone on a rodentpro order, I'd like to get some mice and possibly order some chicks as well.
My monsters eat between 3 and 4 ounces a day.

As long as chicks dont make up the bulk of the diet its okay to feed them occasionally (same goes for pinky/fuzzy mice). I feed chicks once a week.
Im getting down to my last bag and a half of mice. I placed an order from rodentpro in Feb. I ordered 3 ages of mice, 1 bag of small rats, a bag of day old chicks, and some medium guinea pigs. I think I'm going to order a few more ages of mice and rats this next time, along with some quail. We'll see how it goes.
Will this be your first rodentpro order?

Yes it will be. To be honest I've only ever bought 9 rodents, 6 of those were pets... The prices here stupid, one frozen mouse is $2!!

I bet you'll really like rodentpro. I love buying though them. Great prices, and its nice to have a ton of whole prey in the freezer for when you need it.
